What this tool does

Anki Generator lets you paste text or upload supported study files to generate editable flashcards and export them for Anki.

Temporary processing

Uploaded files, job metadata, generated cards, and exports are stored in Cloudflare R2 for temporary processing. We recommend lifecycle cleanup rules for short-lived objects and provide a delete endpoint for jobs.

Provider API keys

If you paste your own Google, OpenAI, or Anthropic API key, it is used only for that generation request. The app does not intentionally store user-provided API keys in R2, exports, browser local storage, or logs.

Content privacy

Do not upload sensitive medical, legal, financial, private, or regulated information. Generated cards may be processed by AI providers configured for this app or by the provider connected to your one-time API key.

Analytics

If analytics are added, they should track product events such as generation and export clicks, not file text, pasted text, generated card content, API keys, or full request bodies.
